Pada tanggal 25 Juni – 4 Juli 2018 telah dilaksanakan kegiatan kunjungan industri oleh mahasiswa Teknik Industri Unisba angkatan 2015 yang merupakan bagian dari matakuliah KKL (Kuliah Kerja Lapangan). Kunjungan industri dilakukan untuk melihat penerapan berbagai teori dan ilmu yang telah diajarkan di bangku kuliah. Selain itu, kegiatan bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan bagi para mahasiswa mengenai dunia kerja. Melalui kunjungan industri; mahasiswa dapat memperoleh ilmu dari pengamatan langsung di lantai produksi, gudang, distribusi dan area kantor di perusahaan. Kegiatan diskusi dan tanya jawab langsung dengan pihak manajemen perusahaan juga dilakukan agar membuka ruang pengetahuan dan belajar bagi para mahasiswa. Perusahaan yang dikunjungi pada KKL 2018 adalah PT. Coca Cola Amatil Indonesia Bandung, PT. Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk Bandung, PT. Industri Jamu & Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk. & PT. Sidomuncul Pupuk Nusantara Semarang, PT. Victoria Care Indonesia (Omah Herborist) Semarang, dan PT. Bali Tangi Denpasar.
